Business as usual.
Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx have put aside any drama they were said to be on set to return to filming their upcoming Netflix movie “Back in Action.”
In photos obtained by Page Six, the actors were photographed in the English countryside for the making of director Seth Gordon’s action comedy on Thursday.
Foxx, 55, was spotted standing on top of a mountain with Diaz, 50, wearing a navy blue suit and a teal backpack.
Meanwhile, the “Shrek” voice actor was spotted wearing a pair of black leather pants and an oversized tan sweater. She had her hair pulled back and a red lip.
Both Diaz and Foxx appeared as characters in most of the footage, so it looks like the footage was shot while the movie cameras were still turning.
This was the first day the cast had returned to work since Foxx allegedly had a tantrum after being dissatisfied with the production and reportedly fired four crew members.
A source previously told The Sun, “There were some issues on set and Jamie had a major breakdown in that regard.”
Diaz, who took a nearly ten-year hiatus from Hollywood, reportedly tried to quit acting again after the whole fiasco.
“These 10-hour workdays in a row were too much for him and he hates being away from him. [her daughter] Raddix, a source close to the “Charlies Angel” star, previously told the Daily Mail. “Cameron loves being a mother more than anything in the world.”
Despite the drama on set, Foxx and Diaz reportedly had no issues with each other.
“When you’re in a position of authority, sometimes you have to make decisions to let go of people who don’t share your vision,” a source close to the There’s Something About Mary star said. “You’d be incredibly surprised if it caused any tension between Jamie and Cameron.”
Foxx played an important role in persuading Diaz to return to filmmaking.

“We sometimes miss special moments in our work, and I think it’s a special moment,” Foxx said. That’s why we’re very happy that this has happened and we look forward to it.”
Diaz, on the other hand, admitted what a filling moment it was for her to make a comeback with Foxx, who she co-starred in her last movie “Annie” in 2014, before taking a big break from the entertainment industry.
“The last movie I did with Jamie was ‘Annie,’ and that’s why this movie with Jamie is the first movie to come back,” he said on “The Tonight Show Starring Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September 2022.
“He’s so amazing, so easy, so professional, so talented and it’s going to be so much fun to even work with him.”
