Kenan Thompson teases Pete Davidson’s return Saturday night live.
The 29-year-old at the Thursday premiere of Davidson’s semi-signed Peacock series BupkilerThompson reveals what fans can expect King of Staten Island The star returns to Rockefeller Center’s iconic Studio 8H to present the May 6 episode with musical guest Lil Uzi Vert.
“It’s like a week off for us because they know how to do the show,” said Thompson, 44. fun tonight Davidson, a former actor who hosted the show. “We don’t have to walk them through every single episode. Usually they come up with ideas too, so a quarter of the show is almost done. It’s just a fun and easy week for us.”

According to this MEATThompson said the episode will “try to balance” characters like Davidson’s character Chad on the show with new sketches. He shared, though, “I’m a fan of the classics. I would fill the show with all the old characters and stuff, but it’s also fun to explore the new.”
Thompson also said of his former co-star, “He’s a good boy. He’s done a lot of work in a short amount of time, so we’re all very proud of him and want to support him.”
Davidson was in the cast of the NBC series for eight seasons until leaving after season 47. SNLexodus.
