Kate Moss and her 20-year-old daughter, Lila, showed off their style when they appeared on the red carpet of the Met Gala 2023. tonight at Fendi.
Joining them was Kim Jones, the art director of the Italian fashion brand, who replaced Karl Lagerfeld in 2020 after the famous fashion designer passed away in 2019.
Kate, 49, wore a lacy Fendi Couture/Spring Summer 2023 look with detachable pink sleeves and sexy lingerie-inspired looks created especially for her by Jones.

Meanwhile, Lila paid tribute to Lagerfeld in a dress from the icon’s own Fendi Couture fall/winter 2018-19 dress.
“This dress is made from marabou feathers that have been treated to look like fur,” Fendi said in a statement. “The voluminous shapes of the upper and lower sections are combined with a transparent, mesh, silk-embroidered bustier.”
This marks their second time together at the annual fashion fundraiser to honor the legacy of legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld.
An emotional night for the supermodel who was close friends with the late Chanel designer.
After he died in 2019 at the age of 85, Moss has worked with other Lagerfeld collaborators and muses, including Cara Delevingne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lewis Hamilton, and more, to design hundreds of owned white shirts in his memory.
Meanwhile, Lila has never walked a Chanel runway but started her modeling career in 2018 and has been a regular in ad campaigns and runways ever since.
The type 1 diabetes patient displayed his insulin monitor in an ad campaign for Fendi and Versace’s 2022 collaboration, as well as on the “Fendace” runway in September 2021, where his mother also walked.
For her Met Gala debut last year, Lila wore a sheer Burberry gown covered with crystals that revealed her calf pump, while Kate wore an off-the-shoulder velvet tuxedo dress, again by Burberry, with a button-up front.
In addition to walking the red carpet, the iconic ’90s supermodel hosted a post-gale party with Naomi Campbell last year and partyed with everyone from Megan Thee Stallion to Leonardo DiCaprio.
I have a feeling this amazing mother/daughter duo will have just as much fun tonight.
