Johnny Depp is officially back on the road after an ankle injury.
The 60-year-old actor was photographed on stage with his band Hollywood Vampires at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands on Saturday and behind the scenes of the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium on Sunday, after breaking his ankle last month.
Depp looked happy to be back as he was seen performing with bandmate Alice Cooper and smiling backstage alongside Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott in a photo shared on the group’s Instagram on Sunday. The caption read, “@graspopmetalmeeting @johnnydepp @alicecooper @hollywoodvampires backstage meeting”.
This Jeanne du Barry The star was dressed in a cropped jacket with a black vest and a white tank, as her gray medical boots were seen sticking out from under a pair of black leather pants.
Depp adorned his outfit with a set of necklaces, a pair of purple lense sunglasses, and a bright blue Baker boy cap, while a red, white, and black printed scar hung from his pants pocket. The star was seen smiling backstage hugging 63-year-old Elliott in a second black-and-white photo.
Despite playing a show in Romania a week and a half ago, Depp’s weekend run was his longest since injury. About a week after the band resumed touring, Hollywood Vampires members Cooper returned to the stage with Tommy Henriksen and Joe Perry.
In May, Depp announced that he would be temporarily stepping back from performing on Instagram due to his injury.
“Dear friends, I’m sorry to say I broke my ankle, it’s a very difficult situation!!! It started as a thin fracture but somewhere between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall it got much worse than healed.” Written by the musician.
“Several medical professionals have strongly recommended that I avoid all activities for the time being and therefore unfortunately I am unable to travel at this time,” he wrote.

“I and the kids are so sorry to miss you in New Hampshire, Boston and New York,” she said of her group. Depp included the postponed 28, 29 and 30 July dates in his post.
He promised fans “a great show” and his “most sincere apologies”.
