Congratulations to Jana Kramer!
The 39-year-old “One Tree Hill” graduate announced that he and 42-year-old Allan Russell were engaged Thursday on the “Whine Down” podcast.
“So, Allan and I… have been dating for six and a half months,” he told the audience. “And he asked me to marry him!”
Kramer continued to detail the sweet proposal that took place in his new home with his 7-year-old daughter Jolie and 4-year-old son Jace, whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Caussin.
“It was a really nice night and me and the kids were sitting on the steps on the front porch, looking out for the view,” he explained.
“He said my name and I got up and then got down on one knee,” he continued. “And then Jolie started jumping up and down… it was the cutest thing ever. It was like she knew what was going on.
Kramer says they both burst into tears, although he “lost consciousness” and doesn’t remember exactly what Russell said.
“It felt very emotional given the front porch of the new house and the new beginnings. It just felt right,” Kramer explained, noting that the offer was “exactly what it was.” [she] wanted.”
Kramer also shared the exciting news on Instagram, adding a red heart emoji below a series of photos from the engagement.
In one of the snapshots, the singer polished her new jewelery while hugging her children and husband-to-be on her front porch.

Based in London, Russell also shared his life update on his social media account.
“It feels right to be with you forever and since the day I met you @kramergirl I’m proud to call you my fiance and cherish every minute we spend together ❤️” she wrote. “I love you my little warrior xxx.”
The couple made their red carpet debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March – in just four months of their relationship.
In January, Kramer revealed on his podcast that he was in a long-distance relationship, but insisted he was taking things slow.
He told his audience, “I don’t know if this is my human forever. … I’m not going to push love aside just because I’ve been hurt before. I will embrace him.”
Shortly after, she officially took to Instagram with the former football player and shared a photo of the couple hugging and giggling in Downtown Nashville, where she lives.
This will be the fourth time Kramer has come down the aisle. She briefly married Michael Gambino in 2004 before signing with Jonathon Schaech in 2010. However, the couple broke up a year later.
She later married Caussin in 2015 but filed for divorce six years later due to the former NFL star’s infidelity.
