Your eyelids slowly open and you wake up to a new day. It’s your first meeting with daylight, and you pause for a moment, trying to get out of the dream you just starred in. Good morning, welcome to the real world after the end of a sexy scenario staged by your subconscious. Was this really a dream?

Dreams can be defined as visual and auditory perceptions and emotions that arise as a result of the actions carried out by our brain during the REM (Rapid Eye Movements) phase, which is one of the stages of sleep. Most of us feel like we are in a simulation with some images while we sleep. Some of us can create a lucid dream and some of us can control our dreams; For example, Leonardo Di Caprio. Remember the 2010 movie Inception starring Leo. We’re sure we’ve never seen a better team when it comes to dreams.
LIKE IT WAS THE LAST DREAM
We want you to remember your last dream without getting too confused in your mind. Wait, maybe we can guess. Could it be a dream in which you fall from a high place, take an exam, lose your teeth, be late, be chased or be deceived? So familiar; because we look alike. So, have you ever had a dream that contains sexy elements? Probably again, yes. Sexy dreams aren’t all about sex, but they’re definitely sexy, we admit. According to the United States National Library of Medicine, 70 percent of people say they have dreams involving sex. You see, you are not alone. Just like you are not alone in that dream…
Dreams may contain symbolic messages containing many metaphors. Let’s face it, they are mysterious and open to interpretation images. Therefore, it is difficult to fully understand and interpret. Now we understand better why dream interpretations are so popular. Sexual dreams are just one of the types of dreams that we attach a lot of meaning to immediately after they occur. According to Clinical Psychologist Gülçin Keskin, Sexual dreams are completely normal and related to what we need. “Sometimes our body knows what we need before we do. That’s why it’s always a good idea to listen to what our dreams are trying to tell us.” Now, let’s think again… Since dreams can be guiding, we should be open to messages about our desires or what we definitely do not desire. So why do some of us have similar dreams?
DREAM CARD
We’re starting an emergency coded meeting in the friendly council to talk about jaw-dropping dreams. Even though not everyone plays their cards open at first, we will spill all the stones as soon as we realize that we have similar dreams. We say, ‘The last one at the table tells the story first’ and we listen to familiar stories. In dreams that wake you up in the middle of the night; An ex-lover, a popular actor, a colleague, a hated person and many other unexpected guests… One of us shares with peace of mind that he has sexy dreams, usually starring his current partner. This creates a soft smile in all of us and we all say in unison, with that melody you know, “Your name is like a secret… I have kept it for years. We mutter, “In my dreams at night… I said your name.”
Our first friend, who woke up with the feeling of warmth from a passionate rapprochement with his ex-lover, first thought it was a message for them to make up. Although he went through a painful process of deciding whether to communicate or not until the effect of the dream wore off, he ultimately chose to forget about it. As we listened to her dream session about a fling with a popular television actor – who is a huge fan – we almost believed it was real. It was one of the best possible scenarios in every detail, but as you know, it’s a dream. Our dreamer, who spends a significant part of his day in the office and has a very disturbed sleep pattern, tells with the same excitement his extremely exciting dream with his colleague, in which he mixed business and love. He adds that he felt a little guilty at the office the next day after this heated entanglement. Meanwhile, Kln. Psk. We remember the following words of Gülçin Keskin: “Dreams with sexual content do not always mean that we want to make love with them; “They can be messengers to raise personal awareness.”
“Dreams with sexual content do not always mean that we want to make love with them; “They can be messengers to raise personal awareness.”
MEETING THE SUBCONSCIOUS
The last dream on the table takes place during a night of passionate encounters with someone who is disliked in real life. Everything was fine in these realistic moments with the co-lead, who he knew did not get along very well under normal circumstances. There were moments that made you feel so good that you almost forgot why you hated him. The fire has engulfed the chimney and he admits that in those moments when sleep gets heavier, the temperature increases and his heart beats faster, he thinks, ‘sex, how close is it to hatred?’ Wasn’t that love? Apparently, sexual dreams are a good opportunity to meet our subconscious. After all the dreams Kln. Psk. We ask Gülçin Keskin why we have these dreams:
“Although sexuality is in the same category as basic needs such as food and sleep in Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, beliefs or cultural values may not allow the person to experience this need as he wishes. Therefore, suppressed desires, impulses and fears can rise to the level of consciousness for a short time.” Is this a trick of our consciousness? We have the answer…
HELLO STRANGER
At the end of the day, after completing the to-do list, we return to our dimly lit room. As always, before laying our heads on the pillow, we gently slide our fingers on the touch screen and make sudden touches repeatedly. Like the night of the previous day, our eyelids become heavy and we are about to fall asleep. It is not difficult to guess that this is a magic key that will open the door to new adventures. Now, we will quickly pass through the streets of the city and rush to attend a stylish party. It’s easy for us not to meet someone very attractive at the party… Minute by minute, we will turn a new page with a passionate first kiss and it is possible that we will encounter surprises. Wait, could we have seen this in a movie? We probably had a similar dream or wrote a creative story based on this idea with our subconscious on a night when we felt extremely desireful. Whatever happens, we choose to enjoy it without putting aside the feelings; Because dreams can evoke real feelings and therefore can be accepted as a beautiful memory because they satisfy you. Thank you, stranger at the party!
WAKE-UP CALL
It’s time to wake up from all the dreams of falling from heights, running away from our pursuers, and activating our desires. After silencing the alarm, we are running out of time to wash our face. Afterwards, we take our first step into a sunny day, put on our headphones and gently touch the ‘play’ icon: I’m leaving from here… I’m coming back all the time… Wake up, wake up… The dream is over!
