Sam Asghari celebrates the first happy anniversary of his marriage to his “better half” Britney Spears.
The 29-year-old actor celebrated their wedding anniversary on his Instagram Story on Friday, despite the “Toxic” singer’s backlash on social media.
Asghari wrote “Happy 1 year to me and my wife” next to a photo of the couple wearing their wedding rings.
He also released a video montage showing everything from their special day, the planning process, to the couple’s kiss at the altar.
The video featured footage of Spears, 41, trying on her wedding dress before getting into a carriage decorated with roses. He also showed some special moments after the ceremony, such as the couple having a sweet kiss on their balcony.
“Married for a year to the woman of my dreams,” Asghari wrote in the video, which was set to a rendition of Elvis Presley’s song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” “Happy New Year my love.”
Spears and Asghari said “Yes” during a star-studded ceremony in the backyard of their home in Thousand Oaks, California.
While the actor publicly pays homage to their big day, Spears seems to want to keep things between them.
The Grammy winner noticeably deleted his Instagram – for the tenth time – without any warning on Thursday.
While it’s unclear why she decided to take a break, the singer recently gave fans a glimpse of her and her partner’s fiery workout routine.

Spears shared a video of the couple doing gymnastics at home, but instead of tights and sneakers, she rocked a lace satin dress and boots.
“heels shoes [high heel emoji] on the treadmill…” he explained by adding three eye roll emojis to the now-deleted video.
Although the “Womanizer” singer said she “never went to the gym in high heels,” she said she wanted to take back control after 13 years of conservatism ended.
“Considering that I always have a trainer on what to do at the gym, I decided — and this is my crazy husband — to wear a dress to the gym to see how it feels, and I really like it.”
Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021 after nearly five years of dating.
