Rihanna’s work, work, work, work, work will be lighter.
The 35-year-old “Love on the Brain” singer announced that she is stepping down as CEO of the Savage X Fenty lingerie brand, where she held the position for five years.

“This is just the beginning for us and we will always continue to expand to connect with the consumer.”
Currently expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky, Rihanna has taken over from Hillary Super, former global CEO of Anthropologie Group, effective June 26.
“I’m excited to join the Savage X Fenty family,” said the 51-year-old Super.
“The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.”
Rihanna, who will continue to serve as the executive chair of the brand, impressed consumers with its Savage X Fenty, which was launched in 2018, with a range of different colors and sizes.
“It was important to me to push the boundaries but also create a line in which women can see themselves,” the “Diamonds” singer said in a May 2018 press release.
“I want to make people look and feel good and have fun playing different styles.”
Three years later, Forbes reported that the nine-time Grammy-winning lingerie company had reached $1 billion after receiving a series of Series B funding that raised $115 million for the company’s upcoming retail and sportswear expansion.
