Meri Brown says she’s in a “difficult place” after her split from her husband, Kody Brown.
Meri, 52, spoke candidly about being influenced by others’ opinions in a TikTok video on Sunday and shared how she’s still learning to live without judgment.
He started the clip by sharing a quote from motivational speaker Mel Robbins, “There will always be someone who doesn’t see your worth. Don’t let it be you.
This sister wives The star detailed how outside noise can affect her, adding, “I think too often we let the voices of everyone but ourselves get into our heads and affect what we think and how we feel.”
“I think it’s really easy to let social media comments or just other people’s opinions affect your mood. [and] it affects your productivity,” he added.
The reality star admitted that she “isn’t adept” at ignoring the judgments of others, adding, “I don’t have a magic formula and the voices are still in my head.”
She later shared that she coped by letting her feel all her emotions and coming out.
“Recently, I’ve been in a place where I let other people’s ideas, judgments, and actions somehow get into my head,” she told her followers. “And that put me in a bit of a rough spot.”
“So what I’m doing in those moments is to come to a place that gives me peace,” he explained, before turning the camera onto a grove of trees. “And I allow myself to feel emotions without judging myself.”
He concluded: “There is too much judgment by others. We don’t need it from ourselves. Dear friends. We got it.

Sunday’s post was the latest in a series of inspirational messages Meri shared after announcing her marriage to Kody, 54, which ended 32 years later. The couple grew up years before Meri’s catfishing scandal and never quite recovered from it.
Meri and Kody’s relationship ended around the same time that his second wife, Janelle Brown, broke up from the plural. This came nearly a year after third spouse Christine Brown also left the deal. Kody is now legally married only to his fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

The big dreams you have will require a new and improved version of yourself,” he wrote last month. “Don’t give up on yourself. Do something every day that will bring you closer to your dreams and goals. You deserve to achieve it!”
