Louis Tomlinson is heartbroken after a storm hit his show and injured his fans.
Old One direction The member’s solo exhibition at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado came to an abrupt end Wednesday night when a severe hailstorm hit the area. About 100 people were injured and seven were hospitalized.
“I’m devastated by tonight’s show, I hope everyone is well, I’ll be back!” Tomlinson, 31, wrote on Twitter later that evening. “Even though we didn’t play the show, I felt all your passion! Sending love to you all!
Western Subway Fire Rescue shared on twitter “Seven people were transferred to regional hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. A total of 80 to 90 people were treated at the scene. Injuries include cuts and bone fractures.” One Twitter user described the intense conditions as “like straight out of a horror movie,” according to a report from NBC.
Photos Shared on West Metro Fire Rescue Twitter page He showed the large hailstones that had accumulated in the amphitheater, as well as a first aid field and medical equipment at the scene.
West Metro Fire Rescue did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
According to USA Today, Red Rocks first told fans that the concert was delayed due to the weather, then postponed the show as the storm worsened. Wednesday evening, National Weather Service In Boulder, it had issued severe storm warnings stating that the storms would contain “golf ball-sized” hail.

Conditions continued into Thursday morning, saying “large hail will again be the main threat, but any developing storm can produce heavy rain, strong winds and frequent lightning. Stay prepared!”
Meanwhile, fans watching the show commented on the event in the comments section. Tomlinson’s Twitter post. “Love you so much Louis, it was really scary but I hope you are well,” one follower wrote, while another concerned fan wrote, “Louis can you please get in touch? @redrocksco So that they can provide a sanctuary for the fans who are still out there? maybe they can make some calls and go home!”
Tomlinson’s official team page warned fans that: twitter “all ticket holders will be updated in due course.”
