Andy Cohen and John Mayer “are in love” – but not quite HE.
The “Watch What’s Happening” host swore on the lives of her children that her close relationship with the “New Light” singer was not a sexual one.
“I’m in love with John Mayer. Cohen, 55, told Howard Stern on Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show”:
“Swear on your children’s lives that there was never anything sexual between you and John Mayer,” Stern, 69, asked his guest.
“Yes. Yes. I swear,” replied the Bravo manager, referring to his children, Ben, 4 and Lucy, 1.
Mayer, 45, spoke at Cohen’s Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2022 and attended son Ben’s baby shower.
The “Waiting on the World to Change” singer also received multiple mentions in Cohen’s new book, “The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grow Up,” and serenaded her friend on her 50th birthday.
After Mayer’s birthday tribute, the reality TV boss had to clarify their relationship status.

“Listen, we have such a sweet friendship and we are always together. “I don’t think I’m surprised because we also have a great love for each other,” he said.
“It just seems like an obvious assumption.”
He then explained how the two’s friendship developed so quickly.
“John Mayer is someone who is very in touch with his emotions,” Cohen told Bruce Bozzi on a December 2022 episode of the “Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi” podcast.
“He started saying, ‘You know, I have to tell you something – I love you,’ very quickly in our friendship,” Cohen continued.
“Someone who says, ‘I love you, I care about you, and I value our friendship’—just what straight men don’t need to say.”
Mayer, who is believed to be single at the moment, has previously dated Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Aniston.
Cohen, for his part, has previously dated Broadway actor John Hill.
