Zayn Malik took a moment to thank his fans for their continued support in a rare, heartfelt message posted on social media.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me on this amazing journey, especially my fans, to whom I owe my life.” tweeted during the weekend. “I love and adore you and I see everything you do for me❤️”
Starting his career as a member of One Direction in 2010, Malik has been mostly out of sight in recent years, tweeting only once this year.
While many fans were excited to finally hear from him, other people thought the message was his way of saying goodbye to music.
One person forgot to add, “I can’t wait to show you what’s under construction”, bro don’t scare me like that, please I’m an overthinker, one tweeted.
“There’s a conflict between the anxiety about vibration and the pride/happiness in the lyrics,” wrote another, while a third wrote, “I don’t know how to take this, Z. it’s very confusing. To be honest, I just hope you’re grateful for your support and consider posting your stuff soon.” If not, that’s okay, the music industry has never been your priority and we will love and support you forever!
Malik, who last released music in 2021, is said to be working on his highly anticipated fourth studio album, but no exact details have been released.
The singer has also faced ongoing speculation about a possible One Direction reunion.

In a now-viral TikTok video, a woman claimed that her friend, who works at a New York City restaurant loved by celebrities, clearly saw the stars “sucked up” after they came “hand in hand”.
The woman later told Page Six that rumoredly the couple arrived at their peak dinner hour and didn’t mind when other customers watched them cuddle at their tables.
While the couple’s date surprised many fans, their close circles were not shocked to learn that the couple had potentially rekindled after hanging out in the past.
