Being Hollywood’s top dog comes with its fair share – and for Al Pacino, that includes a long list of big screen beauties.
The Oscar winner, who has never been married, has enjoyed the dating scene for decades, initiating romantic romances with co-stars like Diane Keaton and Marthe Keller, to name a few.
As Pacino prepares to welcome his fourth child at the age of 83, take a look at his dating history and most famous exes.
Jill Clayburg (1967-1972)
Pacino’s first public love was with actress Jill Clayburgh.
The couple started a relationship in 1967, but broke up with him five years later, when the actor was in the midst of newfound fame for his lead role in “The Godfather.”
“I’ve had it all,” he told the Washington Post in 1978 of their breakup. “Don’t hate yourself, don’t hate him, pain, anger, fear.”
Clayburgh married playwright David Rabe in 1979, with whom he shares son Michael Rabe and actress daughter Lily Rabe.
The “Unmarried Woman” star died at the age of 66 in 2010 after losing a 21-year battle with leukemia.

Pacino moved on with newly divorced actress Tuesday Weld shortly after leaving Clayburgh.
Although their love could not stand the test of time, Pacino and Weld’s 1982 film “Author! Writer!”
Weld, who had two children, continued to sit at the wedding table two more times.
Marthe Keller (1977-1979)
For Pacino and Marthe Keller, it wasn’t love at first sight, especially since they got involved in multiple set fights while filming 1977’s “Bobby Deerfield.”
However, the couple soon realized they had feelings for each other and started a relationship.
They separated two years later.
Diane Keaton (1974-1990)
Arguably his most famous ex, Pacino dated his “Godfather” co-star and on-screen wife Diane Keaton from 1974 to 1990.
“I was mad at him. He’s charming, funny, nonstop talking,” she told People 2017. And oh, she’s gorgeous.”
During their hard love affair, Keaton admitted that he wanted to marry Pacino, an unrequited desire.
She made time for their love in 1990 after giving him an ultimatum when the actor refused to commit forever.
Jan Tarrant (1988-1990)
Jan Tarrant made Pacino a father.
Tarrant, who was Angelina Jolie’s first acting coach, gave birth to her daughter, Julie Marie Pacino, in 1989.
He and Pacino dated in the late 1980s but broke up in 1990.
Lyndal Hobbs (1990-1995)
Pacino went on to form a relationship with Australian director and producer Lyndall Hobbs in the early 1990s.
According to the Evening Standard, in her 2015 memoir “A Girl From Oz,” she wrote about her early days, “I felt really dizzy with the adrenaline rush of romance.”
Hobbs said the couple broke up because he wanted to have children.
“Al was pretty cunning, and there’s a reason he never married. I was also strong and pretty tough in my own way,” he admitted.
Hobbs went on to adopt a son.
Penelope Ann Miller (1993-1994)
Pacino’s love affair with Penelope Ann Miller was widely publicized as it was an affair.
The “Carlito’s Way” co-stars couldn’t keep their hands off each other when she was dating Hobbs.
“It’s not a secret and I’m not ashamed of it,” Miller told People in 1993. “Al is a very passionate person and he brought out a certain femininity, sexuality, passion in me. I guess I always knew it was inside of me, but it set off a real fire.
“We really wanted to keep the relationship a secret for the sake of the movie,” she added, while keeping their escape on set a secret.
Miller married Will Arnett and then James Huggins, with whom she shared two daughters.
Beverly D’Angelo (1997-2004)
In true actor fashion, Pacino’s love affair with Beverly D’Angelo began with a cute date.
The couple first saw each other while flying to New York in 1996. Pacino couldn’t help but flirt with D’Angelo, who was then married to the Italian duke Lorenzo Salviati.
“He was sitting in front of me. In an Instagram video in 2023, he said, ‘Come and sit next to me,’ and it was on when the plane landed,” he recalled.

The “National Lampoon’s Vacation” star divorced her husband to be with Pacino, and even said Salviati fully agreed with the idea.
“‘Al Pacino, he’s great. I love him. We’re getting divorced,'” he claimed the duke told him.
After dating for a few years, the couple welcomed twins Anton and Olivia, who became pregnant through IVF in 2001.
“In 1997 she looked me in the eye and said, ‘I want you to be the mother of my children,’ and although I’ve avoided that role my entire life, I was deeply in love and 100 percent in love. he said in the video.
But that didn’t have to be the case, as the couple broke up in 2004 and endured a custody battle over their children.
Lucila Sola (2008-2018)
Pacino found love with Argentine actress Lucila Solá in 2008.
The duo, who had been dating for ten years until they broke up in 2018, are still on good terms even though they’re no longer in a romantic relationship.
Moreover, Pacino remains a father figure for Solá’s daughter, Camila Morrone, who has been famously dating Leonardo DiCaprio for four years.

After parting ways with Solá, Pacino sparked dating rumors with Israeli actress Meital Dohan that same year.
The couple, who are 36 years apart, have been seen several times in Hollywood and often enjoyed intimate dinners at celebrity attractions in the city.
They finally broke up in 2020 – just months after they made their red carpet appearance together for Pacino’s movie “The Irishman.”
“It’s hard to be with a man this old, even Al Pacino,” Dohan told the Times of Israel in 2020. “The age gap is tough, yes. I tried to deny it, but to be honest, he’s an old man anyway. So despite all my love, it didn’t last long.”
Noor Alfaallah (2022-present)
Most recently, Pacino has been quietly dating Noor Alfaallah since the COVID-19 outbreak, multiple sources told Page Six in April 2022.
Two years later, Alfala made their relationship Instagram-official.
The couple is currently expecting a child who will be Pacino’s fourth child.
