My point, which you obviously missed, and was pounded into the ground by like ten other people was that it had nothing to do with the Eighties. Yes, it is a clever movie. John Hughes should be burned in effigy every time this subject is brought up for ruining the 80's with his celluliod pablum. Were were robbed. Where's our Rebel Without a Cause? Where's our American Grafitti? Where's our Dazed and Confused? Where's our Napoleon Dynamite? We got a big pile of steaming nothing! There are no good 80’s high school movies.
