Ok…Die Hard with a Vengeance is not better than either Die Hard or Die Hard II. And Army of Darkness isn’t better than Evil Dead II either. Other than that, solid list.

Uh, Back to the Future 2 better than 1? Art thou mad?
Back To The Future 2 and Die Hard 3 better than the originals? Hell NO! BTTF2 is the weakest film of the trilogy. Now, if you have put BTTF3 on the list then you might have an argument. BTTF2 is a retread of the original… it’s a set up film to the vastly superior second sequel. BTTF3 manages to be a different film while capturing the magic of the original. But there is nothing like the original. Same goes for Die Hard 3. What was so brilliant about the first film was that John MacLean was trapped in a high rise with no way out… a concept that we had never seen before. But with Die Hard 3, while still a great film, has MacLean driving around New York city searching for the bad guy. Been there, done that. And the ending is so forced that you wondering if it was put together at the last second.
