5. Great White accidentally sets a Rhode Island bar on fire.

Great White was big in the 80s but faded in the 90s. They wanted to make a comeback but didn’t want to look “pop” so they started touring the country, favoring small bars and other small venues. Unfortunately, they set a bar on fire killing several people including one of their bandmates.

Guess the come back didn’t do so well.

4. L7 tosses a tampon and auctions a one night stand with their drummer.

They were in the middle of their song. The audience started booing so their lead vocalist threw a tampon on the audience.

As if that was not enough, they announced that they will be auctioning off a one night stand with their drummer. For charity, apparently. The sad part is, they only raised a little over $10. The drummer was married and refused to talk about who the winner was and what happened in that one night.

3. Ozzy Osbourne decapitates a bat with his mouth.

Everyone knows this incident by now. It came at a time when everyone thought the Prince of Darkness is has slowed down because of age.

Someone threw a bat on stage and he bit the head off thinking it was rubber. In an interview after the incident, he said said something that is now known as one of the most legendary rockstar quotes.

2. Dimebag Darrel of Damage Plan gets shot by a fan who was upset over the break up of Pantera.

Pantera was a big punk group but just like any great group, they split up. One of the fans attending Damage Plan’s concert was so upset about it, he shot Dimebag Darrel.
