It’s easy to learn bass and even easier to be an “okay” bass player but man, being great at it is a whole new different thing. It almost feels like you will need a very unique DNA in your body to master and will that 4-stringed monster.
But there are those who have done it. Bassists who managed to bypass the lead and even the vocals for them to stand strong and proud.
Here is the top 10 most recognizable.
Note: This is most recognizable, not the best.

Man this list is messed up, half of the songs have either the wrong video or don’t start with the bass at all.
im with bee on this one, most of the songs dont even have a recognizable bass riff, only a reckognizable guitar riff
MEGADETH- PEACE SELLS???????
Louis Johnson (bassist in the Brothers Johnson) played bass on this song, and wrote the bass riff. Jackson wasn’t exactly an instrumentist, as he couldn’t play an instrument really good. Anyway, he could do some playing but was mostly singing the melodies he wanted on record to the personnel that worked with him.
