10. Thelma & Louise
There is nothing that can bind a friendship stronger than a crime.
Thelma & Louise is a 1991 American road movie directed by Ridley Scott. It is all about two friends who are trying to run away from their troubled, caged lives. It stars Geena Davis as Thelma and Susan Sarandon as Louise. It was a critical and commercial success.
More importantly, it tackled how dysfunction can actually be the root of a strong friendship. It made the public understood how troubled people actually forge a strong community.
9. Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte & Miranda (Sex and the City) tie with Natalie, Dylan, & Alex (Charlie s Angels)
Arguably the most successful HBO series, Sex and the City made friendship, fashion and New York high end lifestyle became a packaged deal towards happiness.
It empowered women in levels never before expressed in such a bold way.
It sent a message to men, they are just second in a woman’s life… nothing can take the place of girlfriends.
If Thelma & Louise were bonded by their criminal ways, these three are bonded by their crime fighting career. Natalie, Dylan & Alex were the fashion and beauty icons, coolness idols and friendship law makers.
Their clothes, their hairstyles, their language, and even their flaws were being imitated by other women from all over the world. Suddenly, three is not a crowd.
Friendship with a purpose, that is what they were about.
8. Doogie Howser & Vinnie Delphino (Doogie Howser)
The TV show was about the boy genius that is Doogie Howser but the interesting dynamics and contrast between Doogie and Vinnie made any genius who has a “loser” bestfriend totally cool.
7. Ben & Danny (Ben)
This is perhaps the only friendship in the list no one would want to experience.
I don’t think there is any other friendship more wild than this one. Most people throw up or run in disgust at the sight of a rat. Danny decided to befriend it. In return, the rat committed a crime for him.
I am all for Mickey Mouse but an actual rat?
I have to admit however, it become the poster movie for the extreme outcasts.
6. Mickey Mouse & Pluto (Mickey Mouse)
Speaking of rats… Mickey Mouse and Pluto. These two have been so loyal to each other, I honestly think Mickey loves the dog over Minnie. No wonder Minnie is yet to marry Mickey.
Micky and Pluto will always be the foundation for our idea of friendship – loyal, eternal, and superficial fun.

The moment I saw #1, I just spontaneously reacted and say, “WHAT THE….???”. Sam and Bee??? Come on man! Yea it’s cool to have a friendship with a robot. But how can u call it a true friendship? It’s just emotionally w-r-o-n-g. I think F.R.I.E.N.D.S should be #1. No others can show what true and various type of friendships better than FRIENDS. That show is inspirational and have stolen millions of hearts all around the world. Well, Im just saying
