Regardless, I think having a dress that you will wear only ones that is worth more than my house is just way too much.

But… I’m not a girl. Who am I to say?

10. Cosmina Englizian

If you are looking for one of the most expensive wedding dresses in 2010, then you have to hear about Cosmina’s design. With exactly 43,008 hand sewn Swarovsky crystals and pearls, the 26.45 pound sparkling wedding gown designed by Romanian designer Cosmina Englizian hit the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010. Priced at US$ 40,000, this wedding gown entered the Guinness book as the wedding gown with the most crystals attached to it. On 24th March 2004, it was unveiled in an event in Bucharest, Romania, organised by E-Mariage.



9. Imperial Pearl Syndicate

Over 50 years ago, the Imperial Pearl Syndicate created a gown that boasted 100 000 cultured pearls. At that time, it was valued at $100 000.

1950′s most expensive gown was priced at the cost of $100,00. It is made of 100, 000 cultured pearls. It is owned by the Imperial Pearl Syndicate. The gown weighs approximately 27 pounds, but all the celebrities who have modeled it so far, which includes Gloria Swanson, Diana Lynn, Nina Foch and others, declare that after half an hour it seems to weigh much more than that. It’s simplicity of design adds to the bling. Over a strapless white satin and silk net gown is a ballerina skirt of pearls which has a satin sash and permanently pleated ruffle extending down each side.

A Hong Kong designer crafted this 4-pound wedding dress out of 9,999 karats of various jewels. The glittery gown is worth $130,000 or 999,999 yuan.

Mauro Adami of Italy is the designer of this unique platinum wedding gown, made with 40 meters of fabric and sewn with platinum and silk thread. The dress is valued at £240,000.
