1. The Jackal
![]()
The Jackal is the top most boring movie ever made in the history of Hollywood. Though an action movie, it lacked a good plot and acting. Some scenes are so ridiculous in the movie that the viewers feel like throwing tomatoes on the screen.
Well on saner note – guess the movie does have its share of fans but anyone has read the novel surely is going to curse the director making a mess of a gem.

Wow, what a horrible list. Looks like this guy just doesn’t get it.nLost in Translation was one of the most thoughtful movies to come out in it’s respective year and the Thin Red Line was just plain poetic. Wow.
you are missing Munich and Elizabeth town… boooooring!!
What pretentious and stupid list, if you are going to say Lost In Translation is a bad movie, you better do an A+ analysis on why its bad.
That fucking isnt boring at all, if you really watch it, and it does have an end, you are so naive that you probably missed it.
The soundtrack is a 5 star by the way.
What pretentious
the only pretentious things here are you fags that whine about this list. lost in translation is cool. red thin line is awful crap for wannabe deep people
are you retarded?
english patient is amazing.
stupid post is stupid.
WTF!?! are you stupid or what? while most people will agree that the Postman and the Jackal are among the worst movies of the 90′s, placing them with Fuller’s masterpiece The Thin Red Line and Sophia Coppola’s visual fest Lost in translation is retarded.
The author of this list appears not to know the meaning of the word “boring”
Perhaps he/she should be tested for Autism.
That being said, The Postman was pretty tedious.
I thought Thin Red Line was one of the best films I have ever seen. However not everyone gets its intricate nature. As a previous comment says it was Poetic. The flow between good and evil, war and peace, death and love, light and darkness. Its moddeled on flow of Air and water and uses these themes. And English Patient was also a great movie that required someone with a little understanding of the delecate and poetic to appreciate. And Lost in Translation was indeed a visual fest and an exploration of human needs. Disagree with this list is so many ways!!!
This is a horrifically written article.
How about some real boring movies,
You forgot Passage to India or Out of Africa!
FAIL POST, Lost in Translation is a great movie with a deep meaning, how can you call it boring. SOMEONE PLEASE PUT THIS POST ON FAILBLOG
I am getting sick of failblog. If somebody doesn’t have a good response, “failblog”. GET FRESH, be creative and don’t copy!
This is a pretty accurate list if you have ADD. Or, how about you learn to have some fucking patience!
P.S. The Postman and Reign of Fire are horrible films.
P.S.S. The Thin Red Line is better than Saving Private Ryan
Very accurate list. Thin Red Line wasn’t near the quality of Saving Private Ryan. English Patient and Lost In Translation were also extremly boring. Poetic? Read a book – don’t watch a movie if you want poetic. Box Office numbers don’t lie.
Easy Rider is easily one of the most BORING movie ever made, but ive seen worse.
i dont think “the jackel” should be number 1, that is nonsense…i watched 2 movies that are way more boring…”fred” wherd a morphie screams through out the movie and “no good deed” where there only talking
