5. Porsche 911 (1963-present)
The first six-cylinder, road-ready Porsche ever built.
They are still making these.
That only proves that the design is timeless.
4. Aston Martin DB5 (1963-65)
Named after Aston head David Brown, the DB5 appeared in Thunderball, Goldfinger.
Before the Knight Rider and Transformers, DB5 was the only and most popular car celebrity.
They have redesigned the Aston many times and those incarnations appeared in many films, too. However, this one is my favorite.
3. Jaguar XKE (1969)
Enzo Ferrari declared the E-type “the most beautiful car ever made.”
Perhaps… perhaps.
2. Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso (1962-65)
Only 350 of these luxe roadsters ever made it out of the factory.
It would be nice for those 350 owners to come together for a nostalgia trip.
One was put in auction by Steve McQueen and it went for $2.3 million at Christie’s in ’07.
