This band is the epitome of good boys of rock & roll. Sure, the lead singer got into drugs but he cleaned up well. They don’t fight, if they do, they certainly know how to resolve it because more than 75M(?) albums later, they are still rockin’ it.
Most of them are college degree holders too. They don’t go around dating paparazzi whores, they don’t feel the need to destroy their instruments after every show but they are quickly becoming the best live act band ever.
They don’t bad mouth other bands, they don’t bad mouth each other, they don’t destroy hotels, and they certainly don’t destroy virginities of their fans.
Yet, they manage to come up with a genre they can truly call their own, they continue to sound better, look better and feel better. Bottomline, no one can question they fuckin’ rock. Enough said.

I was getting kind of irritated with this top ten until I saw who was number one. Amd though I agree with you, there is one band that NEEDS to be listed here: U2. Come on, they’ve been the same four guys for almost thirty years. Only one member has got in trouble for drugs but cleaned up really quickly. They are giving, part of. Numerous foundations and they STILL put on the best show EVER. They’re good to their fans and stay true to their sound.
I was getting annoyed with the first two pages. I was like, “Linkin Park doesn’t have a single controversial issue related to them, why aren’t they here?”
And then I see #1 and I smile. Yep, there’s no questioning it – they rock (literally).
