5. No Doubt
Almost two decades, they’re still friends and still rockin’.
I think the closest they have ever gotten to a controversy is other women who are bent on destroying her marriage with Gavin.
4. Nickelback
Watch their interview below and see how tamed they are. Had it been Oasis who are being asked these stupid questions, you can be sure they’ll own the interviewers. Being the good guys that they are, they just tried to make fun of the situation without humiliating the reporters. As I’ve said, good guys.
The opportunities you let go boy, don’t waste it.
3. R.E.M.
No on can question the talent of R.E.M. No gimmicks, no hype, just pure good music.
Yet, they walk the streets of Manhattan with no bodyguards, no disguises. They leave their hotel rooms intact, they don’t snort cocaine on stage. They just ask for a dollar if you want to see their tattoos.
2. Queen
So Mercury is gay. So what? The guy is great. These guys are great.
They talked about their fights/arguments in interviews. They all emphasized that all of them have domineering personalities. They are not about to let someone take the lead. You would think that it is a sure ingredient for disaster. Well, they stayed together until their lead singer’s death.

I was getting kind of irritated with this top ten until I saw who was number one. Amd though I agree with you, there is one band that NEEDS to be listed here: U2. Come on, they’ve been the same four guys for almost thirty years. Only one member has got in trouble for drugs but cleaned up really quickly. They are giving, part of. Numerous foundations and they STILL put on the best show EVER. They’re good to their fans and stay true to their sound.
I was getting annoyed with the first two pages. I was like, “Linkin Park doesn’t have a single controversial issue related to them, why aren’t they here?”
And then I see #1 and I smile. Yep, there’s no questioning it – they rock (literally).
