So if you want your kid to be as concerned as you are with the environment, go and support these brands and explain to your kid why you are buying from these shops and not the others’.

B Green manufactures certified organic cotton garments in the USA. They started making underwear for men and women and two years ago, started a kid’s line.

Their commitment to the environment isn’t visible only in their garments but also in their manufacturing process. They are a member of the Organic Exchange, the Organic Trade Association, and Green America, U.S. organizations dedicated to furthering environmental and social responsibility.

Born on Earth was founded by Jodi Ropert and Julie Elli with particular attention to the edgy and fashion forward style. Their designs are very hip and with a rock ‘n roll spirit for boys and pretty, embellished tees for girls – all while treading gently on our tender planet. Most of them are very vintage look, and are buttery soft, with the lived-in feel of a much loved tee.

They specialize in eco-friendly accessories made from recycled vintage fabrics. All products are made in the USA by work-at-home moms. No sweatshops! This one’s for the girlie and fashionable childre.

Garden Kids started when an environmentally conscious mom realizes she needs to walk the talk. She uses organically grown fabrics. In 2006, long-time customers Paula and Craig Skeen bought Garden Kids. They keep the manufacturing in the U.S. and continued the use of organic materials. The company’s line of organic cotton pajamas are made without the use of flame retardants. All dyed garments are dyed using low-impact, fiber reactive dyes and are suitable for children with skin sensitivities.
