Below are the ones that ceremoniously created a wave in the world enough to sell millions of records, cement careers of celebrities and make a permanent mark in the world.

I can’t dance for my life but if I am given the chance to learn at least ten dance steps, these would be it.

10. The Strut

How to do it: Just act like you are being electrocuted.

It was really the first legitimate step to all the pumping and grinding dance steps we see today. The boldest dance since Elvis’ hip-only action.



9. I Need To Pee

How to do it: Put your legs together like you are about to pee. One leg in front of the other. Point the toes of the leg in front. Then quickly put the other in front. Repeat.

Madonna shocked the world from the very first moment she stepped in the limelight and this particular dance step introduced her to the world as one of the best dancers of all time. It was perceived to be too sexually provoking because it involved her looking like she’s tightening her… you probably get the picture.

How to do it: For the headspin, stand on your head. Spin. For the Handspin, use your hand instead of your haed.

Everyone thought the guy who first did this was committing suicide. I am not sure if there has ever been a reported casualty. There must be, they are spinning on their head for chrissake. People get paralyzed for turning their heads too fast.



7. MJ Hip Pop


How to do it: Watch the effin’ video. It’s hard to describe.

After the Elvis’ Hip Action move, MJ took it farther by not just moving his hips from side to side but by actually doing a pump action while holding his crotch. Suddenly, the world earned a pass to hold their crotch in public.



6. Michael Jackson Circles

How to do it: Stand up straight and slide your feet in a box shape. Rotate from the balls of your feet to the heel. Move your body in the same direction. When going into the turns, pretend your getting sucked in that way.

I think this guy asked the devil for dancing skills in exchange of his skin color.
