John Wayne won Best Actor for True Grit. He is the, to this day, only winner to have every thanked the movie viewing public for supporting the movie industry and with that, I say, “Thank you too Mr. Wayne”.
John Wayne’s Speech Highlight: Wow! If I’d have known that, I would have put that patch on thirty-five years earlier… tonight I don’t feel very clever, very witty. I feel very grateful, very humble, and all thanks to many, many people. After being deported out of the U.S. despite his contribution to the movie industry and after years away from the limelight, Charlie Chaplin returned to the United States to accept an Honorary Oscar®. That night, he felt truly honored. It was not enough but it was the least Hollywood can do for the man whom it owes its existence to.
The Speech Highlight: Oh, thank you so much. This is an emotional moment for me, and words seem so futile, so feeble. I can only say that…thank you for the honor of inviting me here, and, oh, you’re wonderful, sweet people. Thank you.

what you got to be worried about mate ! youll be ghrialt! THEN i understood why! he told me her dad is a 6 foot 4 ex-kickboxing champion! . I said ooooo you best tread carefully there then mate, do you know what your getting yourself into! he looked at me all wide eyed and worried. and he was like errrr yea i think so .. But as we both now know! kieron neednt worry as Dave is an awesome bloke and has welcomed Kieron like one of his own as part of the family. and they get along like a house on fire! at the moment like everyone else kierons been through his good times and his bad times but i can honestly say this is the happiest and most content i have ever seen Kieron. Because hes finally settled down with his lovely new wife: Danielle!! and his beautiful son: Harvey and become the man ive always known he’s wanted to be. a hard working dedicated familly man that will do anything to keep his wife and son safe secure and happy for the rest of his and there future together.I would like to now end my speech with this ..keiron and danielle every great relationship starts with rings. In the beginning, the phone would ring and just the thought of speaking to one another was exciting. Your love grew and so did your commitment to each other. The engagement ring soon came after. There were no doubts your love was true. The engagement ring has now turned into a wedding ring and we are all here today to celebrate your marriage. Now of course the suffer-ring begins. (smile and raise your glass) Peace and happiness to the new bride and groom!
