Just keep in mind these are non professional. One of them, though, was choreographed by a professional. The dancers, though, were amateurs.
Just watch the videos and be amazed of the capabilities of human body.
10. Sean and John NY Streets
Back in the glorious days of my ignorance, I have always thought of tap dancing as a thing for old people who emits boredom in their body. It may partly be because of the all the past videos of tap dance I watched before featured men and women in tights and scary thick make up in a non-Paris kind of way.
Then these two broke the mold. Tap dancing is cool now for me and someday… I will learn it.
9. HipHop Tap Dance
Sort of an extension of the two guys above. They just take it a little further because they are a group.
If only more and more people will modernize some of the dying art maybe the future generation will be just as privileged to experience the beauty of classic art.
8. Poppin
I heard this guy is now a superstar, either a member of one of those Korean boy bands or a solo artist. I don’t give a fine f*** about that.
However, this video of him dancing is pretty cool.
I, therefore, conclude… he has no bones.
7. Philippine All-Stars
Hip Hop.
They just did it well, well enough for them to win gold in the World Hip Hop Championship.
The choreography was just… amazing.
6. Powder Brother
You jaw will drop.
A little gay but still great.

Of course, yeah. I’m just one of those list type poeple who likes to go to RT at the end of the year, hit Best of and check which ones I still haven’t seen! And often I find myself avoiding reviews of films I haven’t seen to keep it fresh. I’ve found that too many ideas and expectations beforehand can actually ruin a film for me.
You are correct, I am more veetsd to the tap on my iPad, than a click via mouse. But that’s temporary. Once multi-tasking comes to the iPad, I’ll be as tap happy and app switchy as I am on my iPhone. Speed (CPU and Internet), short attention spans and the expectation to multitask has made us throw away our clicks and taps without (much) thinking. It’s fascinating user testing stuff with teenagers. The speed of clicks and scrolls is tiring to watch.I am now going to tap away from here. Peace out
