Top 10 Artists Who Sing & Dance LIVE

I hate to break it to you guys but even Beyonce uses voice assist.

Most of the time you hear her voice during her concerts, that’s a pre-recorded version of her voice. They (her camp) admitted to using it. She still sings live… maybe half the time.

But there are some out there who refuse to lip sync. They would rather sing live, glitches and all… and… they are the ones I dare call artists.

Note: Just for the heck of it, I tried to include at least two videos of each artist to prove they really do sing and dance live.

10. Jennifer Lopez tied with Black Eyed Peas

She’s a diva, everyone knows that.

She doesn’t do a lot of concerts but when she does, she sings live.

I don’t like her all that much but hey, she actually sings.

In her solo shows, Fergie uses a voice assist. During her shows with the three cool dudes, she is FORCED to sing live. These three ain’t taking no shit.

They’re that hardcore.

9. Pink

Pink vowed to never lip sync when she began her career. She has kept her word.

She doesn’t really dances on her performances but we will count the jumping around.

In her recent appearance in The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she mentioned that she hopes for LIVE SINGING to make a come back.

We are with you on that one, Pink.

8. Miley Cyrus

SO FAR, this girl has been singing live. No voice assist.

I don’t know how long she can keep that but if her ballsy attitude will carry on to her performances, we can expect her to continue singing live. She is out to prove she’s not just Hanna Montana but Miley, a real artist.

We’ll be watching.

7. NSync & Justin Timberlake

God knows I am not a boyband fan. Never was, never will be one.

BUT I have to give a shout out to the boy bands. I never expected it but they actually sang live. In some of their performances, you could hear them breathing on their headset. Honestly, I don’t mind as long as you sing live. We’ll take the good with the bad.

It seems Justin Timberlake carried on with this habit, the video below shows him singing live in his own concert. I have never seen him in his concert and no plans of doing so but I do hope he sings live in all his concerts and not just this one

6. BackstreetBoys

Another one for the boybands!

Gotta give it to these guys, back then voice assist were nowhere near where it is now. All they had were their voices and stamina.

To dance and sing like that, they must have worked out pretty hard. Now, if we can just work out the quality of their music…
