A dinner and a movie is the staple date but there are alternative date ideas that could offer a different kind of fun and reveal a different side of your date that you will not normally see if you do the conventional dinner and movie date.

It will also break the monotony which is important if you are in a long-time relationhip. Often, the magic of a relationship disappears when you fall into a routine. It is always a great idea to pursue new activities that will put some new flavour in your relationship. If you are not yet in a relationship, these activities could reveal to you more about the personality of the person you are dating.

10. The Museum


Museum is one of the most underrated places of entertainment in the world. However, you will be surprised to find out some the most interesting things in it. There are different kinds of museums. There is the historical museum that contains historical artifacts of different era, a historical event, or even about an important person in history. There are museums devoted to art, too. There are also museums that are more contemporary in nature. New Zealand, for example, houses musuems that are devoted to the props used in the making of the movie Lord of the Rings.

Never understimate the amount of fun going back into the past.

This will be a good one for animal lovers. Visiting different kinds of pet stores will be a natural high. However, don’t limit yourself to a dog pound and other conventional pet store. Go ahead and visit even the exotic pet museums.

You can also go and volunteer in an animal shelter. Spending your day playing with the dogs, cleaning animal poop, and assisting in other work can be taxing but definitely worth it.

Golf can be one of the most boring sport to many but mini-golf, take it from me, is different
