Top 10 Absolutely Bad Movie Directors

When it comes to Hollywood, the word extreme is written all across it. So on one side if you can expect movies that create cinematic magic, you can also be sure of expecting a whole bunch of duds that can make your life miserable. And these absurd movies are created by directors who are in their league of their own – drunk on the zeal for tormenting people under the misplaced assumption that they are next best thing to happen to Hollywood since James Cameroon. Lets run you down through a snap list of the infamous directors.

10. Rick Sloane

He has a special place in his heart for brutal laughter, and sometimes even fits of guilty. He seems to believe in lot of yelling to create comedy. He is known for his “Mystery Science Theater 3000” and “Hobgoblins”. Some his bothched gems have earned him a place in the list of worst directors of all times

9.Adam Shankman

This guy who is actually a choreographer and has choreographed a tour for spice girls, continues to drag a dance number or two at most inappropriate instances in his films. his films have immoderate and sinful comedy and has excessive levels of sentiments. Steve Martin should bend upside down at the mention of his name.
Evidence: A Walk to Remember, Wedding Planner, Bringing Down the House, The Pacifier, Cheaper by the Dozen, Hairspray.

8. Joel Schumacher

Joel has a knack for wasting talented cast and crew in useless and pathetic scripts. He is excellent in making some generic studio stuff. His “Tigerland”, “The Lost Boys”, and “Flatiners” are watchable and that is why he finds a place so below in this list.
Checkout the flicks like The Number 23, Flawless, 8MM, Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, Phone Booth, The Phantom of the Opera amongst others.

7.Michael Bay

Except for his “Bad Boys”, Bay is always seen hiding his rut behind heavy budget, special effects, useless bomb explosions, and empty action scenes. Bay is not alone, Jerry Bruckheimer, is the partner in crime too. More display of his monumental follies can be seen in Transformers, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Island and Bad Boys II.

6. Brian Levant

This dude has a panache for making films with mentally disabled children or undeveloped mind. He finds it his duty to tell parents that there is worst around, so they should not panic when their kids lie down on floor or blackmail them, just to buy a toy. Although no films of his can redeem his sin of torturing us, yet his few episodes of “Happy Days” rendered few smiles.
Evidence: Problem Child 2, Beethoven, Flintstones, Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Jingle All the Way, Are We There Yet?, Snow Dogs
