If music is religion, these bands are the gods.

They are the good boys of rock and roll.

They rock, they curse in their lyrics, they say the f word in interviews but that is the extent of their “bad boy” genes. They diss nobody, if they do criticize others, they do it constructively, they don’t subscribe to the ‘I’ll destroy the hotel, I’m a rock star attitude’, their private lives are private.

Boring? You judge.

10. Slipknot

They have been very critical of commercialism but come on, that’s not being bad. They just hate commercialism. They are actually “victims” of it because they have sold millions of records.

Despite their black attire, gory masks, hardly comprehensible lyrics, they don’t really get into fights with anyone. They don’t talk shit about anyone or anyone’s ideology. They just… mind their own business.

They even expressed gratitude to the Grammy’s when they got one.

9. Jon Bon Jovi

Alright, before you talk shit about Bon Jovi, stop. I ain’t here to discuss if they really are a rock band or not.

They have been dissed and insulted by so many bands out there – newbies and veterans alike but they never talked back.

What’s more? They are still together after decades of rockin’ it.

Hmmm, at least half of the band admitted to cheating on their wives. I dunno… cheating?

8. The Beach Boys

One of them had a lunacy attack of some sort but that’s hardly being bad.

Their music is peachy sweet. No rumbles, no punching paps.

They just might cure me of insomnia… unless they start using their lunacy as an excuse to destroy every stop sign in the U.S. and piss on stage in the middle of his performance?

7. Dave Matthew Band

This is one of those bands that have stood the test of time. Alright, you can’t call them the hard rockin’ band that people swarm to when they walk the streets but man, do they make some good music.

They are still intact and there has been no news about in-band squabbles or shit like that. They make music, they sing, they do their awesome thing and then they go home to their families.

Come on Dave, you’ve been around for two decades. If that is not a free pass to commit at least one DIU, I don’t know what is.

6. Eagles

Even when they broke up no one said anything bad about anyone because there was nothing bad about anyone.

When they were apart, they remain friends and when they felt like they were ready to rock, they went back to each other.

You’ve never heard about them dissing each other or dissing other people. No incidents of collapsing on stage because they were too high to play. No moments of hitting the fans with charis or their musical instruments.

They’re good guys… well, except that Hotel California song that practically screams “long live hell!”.

Unfortunately, there have been many who miss out on the greatness and jump right onto being arrogant. The result is self humiliation and a permanent place in stupid celebrity pedestal.

Then, there are others who have to bullet to fire their guns and the ability to put that bullet through the head of anyone who messes with them.

Below are some of the greatest artists and their great moments of arrogance.

10. Tom Cruise

He is not usually arrogant until that fateful day of his interview with Matt Lauer. That moment would have been a genius had he established himself to be like that from the beginning. The things is, he started as a good boy.

However, he has proven himself capable and able to give someone a piece of his mind. And why not, he is Tom Cruise. He is one of the most successful actors of all time, deal with it.

9. James Cameron

He is a genius and thinks everyone else is stupid including people who watch his movies.

Yeah, if he can come up with a movie of blue people with a language even he doesn’t understand and have people praise him for it, then he got himself some bitches.

8. Steve Jobs

Oh, I dont’ know… he makes overpriced products that no one really needs.

He uses high falluting words so he can bullshit everyone into believing the product is great.

He keeps on letting the products “get lost” so a “leak” of the product demo may be distributed to get people to demand for it even before its release.

He humiliates employees in the process of developing that product.

This guy is brilliant!

7. John Lennon

Even his son said he is an ass and that son is not Julian. Sean said John’s only saving grace is that he admits to being an ass.

The other saving grace is that he is a great artist, arguably, the best musician ever.

Imagine laughing at your bandmates’ composition, refusing to sing their songs, bringing your wife everyday to work without asking your bandmate’s permission, bringing your other woman to the home you share with your wife, you know… things like that.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo

He is whiny… argumentative… hard headed… and great at what he does.

He is also the highest paid football player ever.

Here are some celebrities who had so much fun in their first wedding, they divorced and got married again.

10. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton

This is perhaps the most (in)famous remarriage in history. Elizabeth Taylor played an Egyptian pharaoh and Richard Burton her lover. They were both married when the “fell in love” and their affair became an international scandal.

March 6, 1964, Taylor’s divorce from Eddie Fisher becomes final and she married Burton nine days later.

They went through a much publicized divorce and then a much publicized re-marriage on October 10, 1975.

9. Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith

Don Johnson and Melani Griffith met on the set of The Harrad Experiment when he was 22 and she was 14. They had a proper Vegas wedding in 1976, when Griffith was 18. They divorced, less than a year later.

They reconciled a decade later. They had a child and remarried in 1989, and stayed together until 1996. Griffith eventually left Johnson for Antonio Banderas.

8. Stephen Crane and Lana Turner

Actor-restaurateur Stephen Crane twice married this leading lady with a reputation as a femme fatale following her role, Lana Turner on July 17, 1942. Turner annulled the marriage because Crane, it turned out, was yet to be divorced with his first wife, Carol Ann Kurtz.

Lana discovered she was pregnant so she remarried Crane in March 1943. They divorced a second time in August 1944.

On April 4, 1958, Stephen Crane’s 14 year old daughter, Cheryl, killed Lana Turner’s boyfriend, Johnny Stompanato.

7. Richard Pryor & Flynn Belaine

Comedian Richard Pryor got married seven times. One of them, Flynn Belaine, he married twice – 1986 and 1990.
Pryor’s last marriage is to Jennifer Lee.

I am not saying these celebrities are bad parents. I’m saying, like all of us, they also have so moments of bad parenting.

Here are some of those crazy moments. I do hope it doesn’t happen everyday.

10. Joan Crawford

Joan Crawford disinherited her adopted child Christina with the famous line “It is my intention to make no provision herein for my son Christopher or my daughter Christina for reasons which are well known to them.” Christina came out with a book titled, Mommie Dearest which told stories of abuse and neurosis.

Christina talked about her mother’s alcoholism, perfectionism and possible bipolar disorder. Crawford, allegedly, had violent rages.

9. Britney Spears

Britney Spears had several misjudgment and it is unfortunate that a lot of it have been caught by the cameras. She tripped and almost dropped her son, Jayden James, while holding a beer on the other hand, driving while his son’s car seatbelt was not properly buckled and driving with her son her lap.

Spears divorced Kevin Federline when Jayden was not quite two months old, and they have been in custody circus since. After Spears’ public breakdowns, the court has granted full custody to Federline.

8. James Brown

James Brown, Godfather of Soul, forgot to include his youngest child, a five year old, in his last will and testament. He died of complications of pneumonia in 2006. He had a complicated family life.

He had six children from three marriages, and one five-year-old son (James Brown Jr.) from his controversial fourth marriage to Tomi Rae Hynie.

His will was written before the birth of his youngest child. Under South Carolina state law, a child born after the date of the last will still has some rights to inherit – but young James Jr.’s claim was rapidly tied up in lawsuits and paternity tests.

7. Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger have been going through a bitter custody battle over their daughter, Ireland. The couple divorced in 2002 after nine years of marriage. The 2007 voice-mail message was the climax.

In the voice message, the actor calls his daughter “rude, thoughtless little pig.” Baldwin got so mad after her daughter switched her phone off when they were supposed to have a scheduled talk. In the same tape, Baldwin calls his ex-wife Basinger “a thoughtless pain in the ass,” and said he will “straighten your ass out”. He also said “Once again, I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone… You have insulted me for the last time…This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother, and you do it to me constantly over and over again.”

6. Lana Turner

Lana Turner had a relationship Johnny Stompanato, an ex-Marine who was violent and jealous. Two years of abuse and by April 4, 1958, she told him that their relationship was over – the two got so violent that 14-year-old Cheryl Crane grabbed a kitchen knife and ran into the room to protect her mother. Stompanato was fatally injured.

It was later deemed a justifiable homicide. The troubled girl grew up to have a successful career in real estate, and later formed a good relationship with her mother.

10. Thelma & Louise

There is nothing that can bind a friendship stronger than a crime.

Thelma & Louise is a 1991 American road movie directed by Ridley Scott. It is all about two friends who are trying to run away from their troubled, caged lives. It stars Geena Davis as Thelma and Susan Sarandon as Louise. It was a critical and commercial success.

More importantly, it tackled how dysfunction can actually be the root of a strong friendship. It made the public understood how troubled people actually forge a strong community.

Leno, being the more held back talks show host of all, spent most of his time laughing at Triumph. The dog, of course, didn’t let his opportunity to ask Leno if he could hump his chin. Leno didn’t oblige. Party pooper!

Other than that, Leno was played it cool. He let the dog have his moment and fed him only questions to set him up for his punchlines.

Some of this abs deserve to be in the list of the Wonders of the World. I honestly think they’re prosthetics… or photoshopped… or optical illusion.

I hate these abs. The hatred, of course, stems from the fact that mine sucks.

Below are some pretty good details on how they achieved theirs. One thing is common to all their story – they all went through hell to get those 6-packs… or eight… or 10… oh, you count!

10. Taylor Lautner

This one has a lot to do with genetics and natural inclination to sports. He started Karate when he was 6 and by 8, he won 3 world championships and was ranked number one in the world for NASKA’s Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms.

Taylor was also into football and baseball. He can play running back, middle line backer, center field, and second base.

All these naturally made his body fat very low. He was more toned than buff. The challenge was to add 30 pounds of muscles.

He started going to the gym seven days a week for two hours each session and ate as much as he could.

He started buffing up but soon enough, he lost all the weight because he was overworking himself. So he scaled down to 5 days a week and slept more. He also ate six lean meals a day – meats and vegetables.

9. Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake went through a grueling 3-hour work out, six days a week for four months for his role as a druggie in Alpha Dog. The director Nick Cassavetes wanted him to look buff instead of thin.

Timberlake said that the grueling work also served as their “workshop”. He was supposed to be the bestfriend of another druggie and they actually became very close in all those months of work out. They went through what hockey players go through to train. They lifted weights, run the beach, run the stairs, do drills, and every imaginable intense training there is.

Timberlake said, “I’ve toured since I was 14 years old and I’ve never done anything as physically taxing as this.”

8. Rain

Rain was lean before he got offered the role as the Ninja Assassin.

To prepare for the role, he went through a 6-day work out. Each session is 6 hours a day. Five hours is devoted to fighting techniques. Imagine the amount of body fat he was burning. The training went on for eight months.

He gave up rice and bread. He ate only skinless chicken breast, raw fish, potatoes and salad. He was preparing the meals himself to make sure everything is all natural. He used black pepper for some spice.
He admitted that he is unable to keep that physique after the movie and has been splurging on burgers and pizza.

7. Chris Evans

Chris said he didn’t do any special work-out regimen for any of his role including Human Torch.

He said he goes to the gym five times a week even when he doesn’t do any movie. He lift weights and is into different sports like tennis.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo

Like all football players, he goes through a strict regimen. Missing training may mean sitting on the bench for several games or getting a fine.

His training is usually three hours a day five days a week doing football training drills and workouts, football dynamics, and speed training. They also incorporate flexibility and agility training for them to avoid injuries. He supplements their team’s workout by lifting weights.
